New TV Spot Airs Over Next Two Weeks

— filed under:

UHPA has produced another new TV spot featuring Kumu Kealalōkahi Losch, Assistant Professor of Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Studies at Kapi`olani Community College. Shot on location at the Māunuunu student garden at KCC, the commercial captures a class in progress, while reinforcing the contributions of UH faculty to the community, including the preservation and perpetuation of Hawaiian culture and values for the next generation.

The new spot will air during the Winter Olympics on Oceanic Cable over the next two weeks in rotation with the two other spots featuring UHPA member Dr. Teresita D. Amore, Assistant Researcher with the Department of Tropical Plant and Soil Sciences, at UH-Manoa, and UHPA’s Collective Bargaining Committee members, which advocates the restoration of state funding for the UH.
