UHPA Legislative Advisor Shares Insights on Upcoming Legislative Session

— filed under:

The lack of collaboration between the previous governor and the legislature over the past eight years made it difficult for Hawaii to move forward on important policies. Gov. Neil Abercrombie and members of the Legislature will provide a new level of cooperation to bring welcome change for our state, according to John Radcliffe, UHPA's Legislative Advisor.

However, even with the new government officials in place, there are tough challenges in the upcoming legislative session that will require difficult decisions. It’s important that UHPA members be informed about the constraints facing our state and how these could ultimately impact faculty.

As a service to UHPA members, John candidly shares his insights and perspectives on some of the pressing issues facing our state in a series of informative video clips.  One video clip a day will be shared through January 18th.
